Innovation Zero finalists
The DRIFT Energy team is delighted to be finalists in the inaugural 2024 Innovation Zero Awards - Land and Water category.
Supported by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, the awards aim to highlight the efforts of individuals and companies working to reduce or eliminate carbon footprints in various sectors.
Delivering an opening address at the awards event in London on 30 April 2024, Amanda Solloway MP, parliamentary under-secretary of state for affordability and skills, praised the innovations being showcased in all the award entries and said that she was in awe of the ingenuity and invention shown by all those who had taken part.
Paul Dunne, Innovation Zero CEO and co-founder said: “Our inaugural Innovation Zero Awards provided a significant showcase for collaboration and innovation and highlighted the exciting solutions and cutting-edge low carbon technologies that are helping to fight the climate crisis. I’m sure that all our winners and shortlisted entries will provide further inspiration to innovators, corporate sustainability leaders, investors and policymakers and we are looking forward to seeing the positive impact these solutions will have on our journey towards achieving net zero.”
