Currently, Daniel holds the esteemed position of Chief Technical Officer at Team New Zealand, a renowned team in the prestigious America's Cup competition. His role entails overseeing the technical aspects of the team's operations, ensuring cutting-edge design and performance strategies are implemented to achieve unparalleled success. Furthermore, Daniel is also a Founding Director of SumToZero, a distinguished yacht design consultancy that caters specifically to the unique needs of the industry.
Throughout his career, Daniel has amassed a wealth of experience in both Formula One and the America's Cup, where he has showcased his exceptional skills as a race engineer for Team New Zealand. Notably, his remarkable contributions played a pivotal role in securing consecutive victories for the team in 2017 and 2021, solidifying their position as frontrunners in the highly competitive America's Cup.
